Dear Valued Patient,
At Total Focus Northgate, we are committed to the health, safety and well-being of our patients, and staff. At present, our clinic remains open and is operating during regular business hours.
In light of the evolving situation in regards to COVID-19, we have put into place a number of measures to enhance safety as per guidelines from public health authorities and regulatory agencies. As the situation evolves, we will revise our procedures to follow best practices.
In order to maximize safety, you will notice a number of changes upon arrival at our clinic. All visitors/patients will be screened. This means answering questions about symptoms such as fever, cough and difficulty breathing as well as recent travel and contacts. This may increase wait times as we work to keep you and our team safe.
For some time now, we have been carrying out enhanced sanitization practices above and beyond our standard procedures. High-traffic areas and surfaces are disinfected multiple times per day. Staff have been advised on updated measures to reduce risks to themselves and others.
Please do not come to the clinic if you have any of the following symptoms:
-Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing
If you have one or more of the above symptoms, please contact us to talk about:
-Whether or not you need to come to see us
-Rescheduling your appointment
-Any concerns you have with delays in your care
If you or a close contact have traveled internationally over the past 14 days, or if you’ve been in contact with anyone that is being monitored for potential or confirmed coronavirus infection, please do not come into the clinic at this time. Please contact your local public health authority to determine appropriate next steps.
We kindly ask that you attend your appointment alone, unless necessary for medical purposes. The person accompanying you will go through the same screening process as you. If that person shows any symptoms during the screening process, they will not be allowed to come into the clinic. If you are unable to safely be in the exam room, or clinic on your own, you may be required to reschedule your appointment.
We will waive any cancellation fee associated with rescheduling appointments for the reasons noted above during this time.
Stay healthy and be safe with good hygiene habits:
-Wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds or more.
-Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
-Cough or sneeze into a tissue or your sleeve. Then, throw away the tissue and wash your hands.
-Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-Keep a safe distance of 2 meters (6 feet) from others.
-Avoid large group gatherings.
We’d like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to care for you. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep you safe during this time. Your health and well-being, as well as that of our team, remain our top priority and we look forward to continuing to serve you.
If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to call us at 780-472-7740 or email us at email@example.com
